A food walk through crowded markets of Old Delhi with your local Trip Leader/ Friend, this walk will help you taste the best street food available in Old Delhi from some of the oldest food places in the city. During this walk, we will visit different food joints, each one of which is in business for decades, some of which are there from generations. We will walk through some landmark markets, lively markets, ride rickshaws, walk a bit and stuff ourselves with delicious street food of Old Delhi.

Pepper, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, chillies, and seed spices such as cumin, celery, coriander, fennel are the most important Indian spices.

You will explore hidden treasures while tasting street food with a local person who has been trained at Indian Institute of Travel & Tourism Management & having more than a decade experience in Leading the Tours in Pan India .It is an opportunity to refresh rejuvenate your mind, body & soul as it satisfies your cravings. It will also give an insight to Indian home, culture, traditions and Culinary Experience in the streets of Old Delhi.

What to wear : Because of little conservative society in Old Delhi - Ladies, please dress modestly (wear dress which cover your shoulders and your legs below the knees), Please ensure you are carrying cap for adequate protection against the sun. Usually you have to take off footwear to visit Indian houses, but check with your host as this rule may apply only to some areas of the house.

TRANSPORTATION

For hotel pickup, we'll be using private, air-conditioned vehicles. In the cases of larger groups, we may use two vehicle, but there is no additional cost. This is only used for transport from the hotel to the starting point, and back at the end.

During the tour, we'll walk; we will also have a ride in a rented Cycle Rickshaw.

Moderate - brisk walks of longer duration on varying terrain, bicycling on level ground or swimming.

High - very active excursion involving constant effort. Includes such activities as running, hiking on difficult terrain for an extended period, bicycling in hilly areas or climbing steep inclines.

Extreme - requires the highest level of fitness.
